....your posts would lead one to believe that the motor failed as a result of the piston-to-wall clearance being wrong and/or the bearing clearance being too tight. Those are all builder issues. However, seeing that the engine lived a very hard life, how can you be sure that it wouldn't have lasted much longer had it not been run in such conditions? By pointing to clearances and such, aren't you pointing the finger at the builder? Is that fair?
